Here are some considerations when choosing the neighbourhood to build you new home:

• Are there schools and daycare services nearby?
• How far for shopping and other services?
• What will the neighbourhood look like when completed?
• What kind of development is planned for the surrounding areas?
• Police and fire protection – how quickly can they respond?
• Medical and emergency facilities Parks, playground and recreation areas
• Light rail and bus transportation • Bicycle and walking pathways
• Architectural controls for the neighbourhood Spend as much time as possible in the neighbourhood at different times of the day before making a commitment.
